Recent Crime Activity at the Quincy in New Brunswick, NJ

There have been some recent stories of crime that occurred in the Quincy area in New Brunswick, New Jersey. One of those stories include the police arresting a suspect on May 7, 2013 for an armed robbery of a pizza delivery man the previous year. The suspect is named Parysh Wood, who was 21 years old at the time of the arrest. His street names include “Pistol” and “P gun”. He is pointed out as the crew leader involved in the armed robbery, according to the police.


The incident entails the following: The delivery man went to a home on November 30, 2012 at a complex located on Quincy Circle. When the resident informed that a pizza wasn’t ordered, and the delivery man was walking back to his vehicle, three males ambushed the man from behind saying the pizza was theirs. They also stuck him up with a handgun towards his head to take his money. As a result, witnesses stated how these suspects escaped the scene in a dark and older minivan. Upon more police investigation, cell phone site information along with the robbery location were also obtained.


Another recent story occurred on October 7, 2015. It was about a victim getting shot and then shortly being dropped off at the RWJ Hospital. The few shots happened around 9:30pm in the 33 Commercial Avenue area, according to the police radio transmissions. The police also stated that the shots were non-life threatening, the suspect and victim’s identities were withheld, the suspect was a man who fled towards Neilsen Street, and he wore a hoodie. More investigations are also being done.
