Introduction

Ahmed Sajjad Hashemy published an article on his blog detailing the involvement of Israel into event of September 09, 2001 attacks on United States of America, while Qaiser Anwar; The Principal of Ali Garh Model School in Wazirabad town of Pakistan had a discussion with me about the involvement of Muslim Terrorists, namely Osama Bin Laden and allegedly his terrorist network in 9/11.  The both incidents prompted me to write about the actual culprits of 9/11. Although, this is the most documented incident of human history and my research will add, may be nothing new into it but still my contribution from my perspective will become a part of record.

My firm, well-researched and intellectual opinion is that Israel is the mastermind of the attack and it conducted it through its Zionist assets and their bought allies into American society, government and power circles. The Question is why Israel wanted to harm America? So that American hatred towards Muslims world can be extinguished and Muslim countries, who are posing dangers to Israeli can be attacked and weakened. The conflict between Muslim World and The Christian World will give more leverage and control over the world to the third Abrahamic religion, The Judaism.

Many of the people disagree with this and they most prominent of their disagreeing statements is that United States of America is a secular state, yes, officially it is but in 2007, a survey shows that 78.4% of Americans are Christians (Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life.) And another survey says that Religion is much more important to Americans than to people living in other wealthy nations. Six-in-ten (59%) people in the U.S. say religion plays a very important role in their lives (Pew Research Center, 2002).” So you agree or not, it is not important for Zionists, they know Americans are Christians in Majority and that USA is the most powerful Christian Nation in the world.  The Jews historically wage wars, finance the both sides and make profit, gain control of the Nation and suck the blood out of Nation. Consequently the Nation had to wake up and kick them out or wage “ holocausts” against Jews.

So there is nothing astonishing to me that Jews, who orchestrated wars between the Nations for centuries, now created a new wave of wars by orchestrated September 2001 attacks on World Trade Centre. Let us find out the complete story.

Attack like 9/11 on USA was conceived long ago by the Israelis and on many incidents such reports had surfaced that Zionists were plotting attacks to wage more wars in the world or to cause a Third World War. Victor Ostrovsky, while detailing training of an Iraqi as terrorist and initiator of anti-government movement in 1970s, provides a fantastic view of Israeli management of covert operations and how the Zionists infiltrate into other nations to create unrest and ideological and phenomenal divisions between the Nations.

Isser Harel was one of the founders of Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency, and was its director from 1952 to 1963. He was also the first director of Shin Bet, the internal security agency. He was responsible for the kidnapping of German Army Officer Adolf Eichmann from Argentine criminally and violation of sovereignty of Argentine. Born Isser Halperin in Vitebsk, Byelorussia, in 1912, he immigrated to Palestine in 1930, where he changed his name to Harel (The New York Times, 2003). He had one child, a daughter, from his first marriage. She currently works for the Shabak (General Security Service) in Israel. She did not serve in the Israeli Defense Forces but instead in the National Work Program that is an alternative for women who do not or cannot serve the mandatory 18 months in the I.D.F (Wikipedia Foundation, 2011).

Michael D Evans was born to a Jewish Mother on June 30, 1947. He is an author, Zionist journalist, commentator, has served as a confidant to multiple Israeli Prime Ministers (Middle East Media Group, 2011), appears frequently on Jewish Controlled Media Channels including Fox News, CNN World News, NBC, ABC, and CBS (Middle East Media Group, 2011), the head of several prominent Zionist international non-profit organizations in the U.S. and Netherlands. Michael Evans has, for two decades, been an ambassador to Jerusalem.  He is the founder of the National Prayer Breakfast to Honor Israel, the “Night to Honor Israel” rallies, the Jerusalem Prayer Summits, and Churches United with Israel. The both had a conversation in Tel Aviv, Israel in September 1980 where Isser Harel has hinted the attacks on New York skyline. Jerusalem Post published the description of this conversation, exactly 10 years ago on September 30, 2001.

Talking about Terrorism, Mossad Chief and Israeli Spy master said, “I fear it will come to you in America. America has the power, but not the will, to fight terrorism. The terrorists have the will, but not the power, to fight America”.  Pointing about the targets of “terrorism”, Harel continued, “New York City is the symbol of freedom and capitalism. It’s likely they will strike the Empire State Building, your tallest building and a symbol of your power” (Jerusalem Post, 2001). The fact that 9/11 was planned by the Mossad through the admittance of Isser Harel is well documented and appears in a book written by Michael Evans. Mike Evans maintains that after twenty years, the words of Mossad Chief became true when anonymous figures hit the twin towers in New York. The plan has been changed. Why? Perhaps for technical reasons and vested interests.

Why TWIN TOWERS were chosen to Destroy instead of Empire State Building

In 1980, Larry Silverstein, owner of Silverstein Properties won a bid from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to construct 7 World Trade Center, to the north of the World Trade Center. Silverstein was interested in acquiring the entire World Trade Center complex, and put in a bid when the Port Authority put it up for lease in 2000. Silverstein won the bid when a deal between the initial winner and the Port Authority fell through, and he signed the lease on July 24, 2001. The complex was leased to a partnership of Silverstein Properties and Westfield America against the payment of $ 3.2 billion for 99 years for holdings estimated to be worth more than $8 billion (Hoffman, 2004).

World Trade Centre complex was generating a net income of $200 million annually by then and it attracted handsome insurance policy with a clause that would prove extremely valuable: in the event of a terrorist attack, the partnership could collect the insured value of the property, and be released from their obligations under the 99-year lease (Hoffman, 2004).

Now, let us look who Larry Silverstein is?  Silverstein has been involved in his alma mater, as founder and chairman emeritus of New York University’s Real Estate Institute, and as a trustee of the New York University Medical Center and Health System. Silverstein also has served as chairman of the United Jewish Appeal in New York, that raised over US$ 1 billion for the support of the state of Israel during last 60 years (UJA Federation of Israel, 2009), the Realty Foundation, trustee of the Museum of Jewish Heritage, and treasurer of the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver. Silverstein is also a governor of The Real Estate Board of New York.

The World Trade Center lease was offered by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, headed by then Chairman Lewis M Eisenberg (Port Authority of NY & NJ, 2001). Eisenberg, who was a huge contributor to the Bush-Cheney campaign, is a member of the Republican Jewish Coalition and former partner of the Jewish bank, Goldman Sachs, aborted Vornado’s bid in favor of his Zionist fellow Silverstein. Silverstein and Eisenberg both held senior leadership positions with the United Jewish Appeal, a billion dollar pro-Israel Zionist organization and co-founder of the Israel Export Development Company (Brother Nathanael Kapner, 2008).

After the World Trade Centre is handed over to Larry Silverstein, Larry had breakfast in “Windows on the World” restaurant (107th Floor North Tower) every single morning. Larry was absent from this routine meeting on the morning of September the 11th. Larry’s two children, who also worked in the WTC, conveniently decided to take the day off as well. Larry Silverstein scored more than $4.5 Billion in insurance money as a result of the destruction of his complex. Silverstein was personal friends with Zionist media-magnate Rupert Murdoch, former Israeli president & infamous Zionist war criminal Ariel Sharon, as well as Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Silverstein was such good friends with Benjamin Netanyahu that he would talk to him on the phone every Sunday (The Above Network, LLC., 2010, p. 01).

Westfield America, Inc, was the partner with Silverstein Properties in the lease of World Trade Centre. Westfield Group is owned by Frank P Lowy (Westfield Holdings Limited, 2008), a Hungarian Jew who arrived in Palestine in 1945 to fight with the Haganah in the Israeli “War of Independence”, later joining Israel’s Golani Brigade which was created in February 1948. In 1952 he moved to Sydney, Australia, where he started building shopping centers, before going on to work in investment banking in London, New York and Los Angeles. He co-founded the Westfield Group, which he still chairs.

Frank, the Zionist is not at all disinterested in world politics. In 2001 he was the Associate International Chairman of the Israel Democracy Institute, and in 2003 he set up the Lowy Institute for International Policy, an international policy think tank devoted to foreign affairs, an endeavor which won him the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship in 2005 (The Above Network, LLC., 2010, p. 01).

Now, it is established that World Trade Centre was in complete control of Israel through their cronies, Larry Silverstein in USA and the premiers of Israel, like Netanyahu, Ariel Sharon, were controlling the operation. Now, we look into the control of security of Twin Towers, at the time of 9/11.

The Security of World Trade Centre

The Change of Plan came after World Trade Centre was targeted by a bunch of non-practicing Muslims on February 26, 1993. All the involved were pointed by the Zionists and the information related to them were made public by the Zionist Journalists like Steve Coll, currently President and CEO of pro-Israeli New American Foundation, Samuel M Katz, Benjamin Daniel, Steven Simon, Robin Wright and many more. Why there is no name from other religions like Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Zoroastrians, who have been living the areas of Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, India and other parts of the world from where these “Muslim Terrorists” emerge to “destroy America”? Why it is always the Zionists and Pro-Israel people who leak the news and information about these acts of terrorism from their sources, not to be disclosed? It is obvious that Zionists hired money hungry people with Islam as their religion on their passports to conduct the “ false flag” operation and the whole Zionist machinery was activated to spread that Islam and all the Muslim world is teething to kill the Christian World through their suicidal attacks on American soils. The success of the test attacks, confirmed the vulnerability of World Trade Centre as target of bigger attacks.

After the attack on WTC in 1993, the security of the Government owned property was given to a Zionist established and controlled Security Firm, named Kroll Associates. A lobbying struggle erupted to lease out World Trade Centre that accomplished only in 2001, provide complete control of the World Trade Centre into the hands of Israelis.

Since the first attack on World Trade Centre in 1993, the security of World Trade Centre was given to Kroll Associate (now Kroll Inc.). Ray Steffans (aka diStefano of New Jersey), Jewish mobster Gideon Chern, and Eddie Baker of Vanguard Petroleum met in Houston in September 1983 to discuss, among other items, funding for Kroll. In December 1977, Bernard Taubenfeld, Gideon Chern and Shalom Goldburd, officials of B’nai Torah Institute affiliate, Nutrition for Youth, were convicted of defrauding the government by submitting bills for food that was never served to poor children in the New York City summer lunch program. Chern’s other organized crime activity in the 1980s reportedly had an important protector — former US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Rudolph Giuliani. The former New York Mayor and prospective GOP presidential candidate reportedly suppressed a wealth of evidence against Chern (Madsen, 911 WTC Links To Russian-Jewish Mafia Revealed, 2007). Jules B Kroll initiated his public interest work during law school, when he served as a junior aide to Robert Kennedy. After his post-graduate positions in the U.S. Coast Guard and as an assistant district attorney in New York, he founded Kroll, Inc. He and his wife, Lynn, have also been loyal supporters of the Jewish chaplaincy at the Law Center and on Georgetown’s main campus (Georgetown University, 2009). The both also established Lynn & Jules Kroll Fund for Jewish Documentary Film (The Foundation for Jewish Culture, 2011).  Jules Kroll is a pro-Israel Zionist.

Jerome Hauer, the Managing Director of Kroll Associates in September 2001, is also Jewish and a staunch Zionist. Hauer’s mother, Rose Muscatine Hauer, is the retired Dean of the Beth Israel School of Nursing and the Honorary President of the New York Chapter of Hadassah, the Daughters of Zion movement that is one of the central Zionist organizations involved in the creation and maintenance of the State of Israel. Most important task of him was to make defunct the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) whom he, violating the regulations, setup in the 7^th Tower of World Trade Centre, instead of Police Headquarters when he was made the head of OEM in 1996 by NY Mayor Giuliani. This crisis center was unveiled in June 1999, and became the subject of tension between the agency and the Police Department, whose own command center at 1 Police Plaza had until then been the focus of emergency preparedness operations. Reports indicate that the usual personnel were not using the OEM crisis center at the World Trade Center on 9-11. The center had been temporarily relocated to Pier 92 on Manhattan’s West Side, due to a FEMA drill scheduled to begin on the day after 9-11, according to statements made by Mayor Giuliani. The site was immediately controversial because it was part of the trade center, which had already been the location of a truck bomb attack in 1993. City officials, though, including Mr. Hauer, have long defended their decision, even after the command center had to be evacuated during the 2001 terror attack. The center was destroyed when the 47-story tower collapsed at about 5:25 p.m. on 9-11 (Wikipedia.org, 2010).

It vindicated that the ownership and security of World Trade Centre, already with in the hands of Zionists and Pro-Israeli individuals and companies, made it choice for Israeli agency, MOSSAD to target Twin Towers for their long standing plan of attack on New York’s skyline. Destruction of these towers was no loss to the owners. The Zionist Silverstein and Lowy paid 3.22 billion just fifty days earlier for the towers and they received 4.5 billion as insurance after the destruction of the towers. It is huge profit and to the Israeli only.

Airport Security Control and Israel

It is impossible that WTC attack could have been the result of ignorance of on duty officers of airport security, the terrorists had inside or Technical help to permit them to smuggle their weapons onboard. Obviously this points a finger at the organization and/or persons in charge of security at the airports. Security at the Logan International Airport in Boston was contracted out by the Port Authority to two companies, Globe Aviation Services of Irving, Texas and Huntleigh USA Corp. of St. Louis, a subsidiary of ICTS International (Smith, 2001).

All the American airports and most of the large airlines in United States use the security system, provided by ICTS international, an Israeli company (Melman, 2010). Former members of the Shin Bet established ICTS in 1982 and its headquarters are in the Netherlands and the company is traded in the New York Stock Exchange. Some senior managers are Israeli, including the joint managing director Ran Langer. This company is providing security services to airports in 11 countries including France, Britain, Spain, Hungary, Romania and Russia. The airport security system of ICTS was offered to the Israel Airports Authority and the Shin Bet in the past, but was rejected due to its poor performance as the system of ICTS is failed (Melman, 2010).

All the terrorist in Western Countries, who are branded as “Muslims” passed through the airports, secured by ICTS, either they conduct 9/11, attacks in United Kingdom or in Spain. Why the terrorists always select the target where the Israeli control on supportive places is available? A recent example surfaced, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, the University College London student from Nigeria accused of trying to detonate a mixed liquid-powder device on a Northwest Airlines/Delta Airbus 330, flight 253, as it approached Detroit from Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on Christmas Day (December 25, 2009) appears to have received some special treatment from security at the Amsterdam airport (Madsen, Israeli ICTS Connection To Pollard & Schiphol Airport, 2010). Mutallab boarded a KLM flight in Lagos for Schiphol where he transited for his onward flight to Detroit on Northwest/Delta.

Six months prior to Reid’s near shoe bombing of American Airlines flight 63 from Paris to Miami in December 2001, while memories of 9/11 were still fresh in everyone’s mind, Reid attempted to board an El Al flight from Schiphol to Tel Aviv. Reid was taken aside by El Al security and identified as a terrorist suspect. Reid paid for a one-way ticket with cash and would not reveal what he planned to do in Israel. However, rather than turning Reid into Dutch security for further action, he was allowed to board the El Al flight by Israel’s Shin Bet security so his movements during his five days in Israel could be monitored. Six months later, Reid attempted to ignite his shoe on the flight from Paris to Miami. Israel had not informed British, American, or any other security agency of the concerns about Reid. Reid’s aunt, Claudette Lewis who raised Reid in south London, was quoted as saying she believed her nephew had been “brainwashed.” (Madsen, Israeli ICTS Connection To Pollard & Schiphol Airport, 2010). The security company that allowed Reid to board American Airlines 63 at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris was ICTS (International Consultants on Targeted Security) International. ICTS’s senior management is all ex-Israeli security officials, many of who worked for El Al security (Madsen, Israeli ICTS Connection To Pollard & Schiphol Airport, 2010).

The fact is that, ICTS is linked with Israeli espionage against the United States. An ICTS board member, retired Major General Amos Lapidot, served as commander of the Israeli Air Force and authorized Israeli Air Force Colonel Aviem Sella, operating under official cover at the Israeli Consulate General in New York, and Rafael Eitan, head of LAKAM, an Israeli military technical intelligence gatherer, to accept U.S. Navy intelligence official Jonathan Pollard’s offer to spy for Israel (Madsen, Israeli ICTS Connection To Pollard & Schiphol Airport, 2010).”

Very soon, after 9/11, fingers were being pointed at ICTS and its Chairman and Major Shareholder, Mr. Ezra Harel, being the Mossad agent, involved into the provision of clean passage to the hijackers of planes, used for 9/11 attacks. Soon he was being circled by agencies when Israeli authorities (Mossad) have taken him into their custody to protect him from being captured by others. It was told that Israeli Securities Authority was questioning him for financial crimes on May 25, 2003 (The Globes- Israeli business daily , 2003). A few months later in November 2003, from a “heart attack” while sailing on a yacht off the Spanish coast. He was 53 years of age and never was subject to any treatment of heart disease. The mystery of his death may never be solved.

The whole story was revealed by Alex Jones on his website infowars.com. On October 2000, approximately 11 months prior to September 11, 2001, a former Israeli Defense Force member and veteran of the Yom Kippur War (1973) was collecting English Ivy cuttings at the Gomel Chesed Cemetery located at Mccellan and 245 Mount Olive Avenue, which is near the city lines of Elizabeth and Newark, New Jersey. The man overheard a couple of people having what he believed to be a conversation spoken in Hebrew, which drew his attention. He hid behind an 8-foot tall retaining wall and listened in to their conversation as they stood below. Shortly after a Lincoln town car approached the two people — presumably Israelis — and the man in the backseat got out to greet them.

He overheard three men, speaking in Hebrew, say: “The Americans will learn what it is to live with terrorists after the planes hit the twins in September.” (Jones, 2007).  One of the men that had been leaning against the retaining wall expressed concerns regarding whether the upcoming presidential election (November 2000) could impact the plans. The man that arrived in the Town Car pacified the doubts by saying:

“Don’t worry, we have people in high places and no matter who gets elected, they will take care of everything.”

The observer who overheard this conversation related it to the FBI on numerous occasions only to be ignored each time. Nothing was done about it, and no investigation into the incident has ever taken place (Jones, 2007).

Odigo, the instant messaging service, says that two of its workers received messages two hours before the Twin Towers attack on September 11, 2001, informing the attack would happen (Dror, 2001). This warning was not passed on to authorities, which could have saved thousands of lives.

Odigo has a feature on its service that allows the passing on of messages through a search feature based on nationality, such as Israeli. Knowing these two particular Israelis were forewarned, it is very likely they passed the message on to other Israelis considering that out of the 4000 Israelis believed to be in and around the WTC and the Pentagon only FIVE died. 5/4000 Israelis. Mathematically (if Israelis were not forewarned) about 10% (400/4000) would have died; even as low as 200-300/4000 would not really indicate foreknowledge. Yet only FIVE Israelis died and two of the five were actually aboard the supposedly hijacked flights; therefore only three Israelis died at the WTC on 9/11. An astonishing fact, we’re talking about ‘Israelis’ here, not ‘American Jews’. Many Jews died in the WTC on 9/11.

Odigo has offices in New York, and in Herzliya, Israel. Herzliya happens to be the Head Quarters of Mossad.

Another Israeli company called Comverse later bought up Odigo. The CEO of Comverse was Kobi Alexander, “dual” Israeli-US citizen, with connections to Mossad. He has been charged on several counts of fraud and is an established criminal.

On Sep 10, 2001, the Tokyo branch of Goldman Sachs warned its American employees to steer clear of American buildings (911 Missing Links, 2010). The involvement of Goldman Sachs in crimes against Americans is not a new thing; rather it is one of the keys to its success since its foundation. Marcus Goldman came from an Ashkenazi Jewish family, the son of Ella and Wolf Goldman, a former schoolteacher and cattle dealer. He immigrated to the United States from Frankfurt am Main, Germany in 1848 during the first great wave of Jewish immigration to America, resulting from the Revolutions of 1848 in the German states. In 1869, he arrived in New York and started the fraud of commercial paper brokerage. In 1882, his son-in-law Samuel Sachs joined him, and the both established todays Goldman Sachs. The first major fraud came into public spotlight was establishment of Ponzi scheme, under the title of Goldman Sachs Trading Corp, a closed-end fund (Wikipedia Foundation, 2011). The Ponzi scheme ruined the financials and reputation of the company.

In 1930, Sidney Weinburg, a Zionist, was appointed as the Chairman. The former office boy who became chairman in 1930 (and stayed in the job until 1969), that brought Goldman back, according to Lisa Endlich’s 1999 history of the firm. Weinberg convinced the likes of Henry Ford II that he had their best interests at heart and began landing deals like Ford Motor’s mammoth 1956 IPO. But it wasn’t all about playing nice. The other power in the firm was trader Gus Levy, who pioneered the block trade and the practice of risk arbitrage. The chief interest he had at heart was making money (Fox, 2005).

During the mid twentieth century, to bring the U.S. into the World war, International Jewry had circled Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Interestingly enough, Col. Curtis Dall who was once FDR’s son-in-law accused Roosevelt of being partly Jewish. In any event, Roosevelt was surrounded by plenty of Jewish advisors such as Bernard Baruch, S. I. Rosenman, Sidney Weinburg, Sidney Hillman and Felix Frankfurter. For the first time, Jewry had a President who was totally subservient to them and they spared no effort to keep him in office [four terms]. For example, when it appeared that Sen. Huey Long would defeat Roosevelt for the 1939 Democratic nomination, Dr. Carl Weiss, a Jew, assassinated him (Anderson, 2010).

Nevertheless, American public opinion was overwhelmingly opposed to any involvement in WWI. Americans realized that they had been duped into WWII and were not interested in losing the lives of loved ones in a war that offered no benefits to the U.S. In effect, Americans were heeding the advice of George Washington in his “Farewell Address” where he warned that Americans must not become involved in entangling alliances with foreign nations (Anderson, 2010).

Those patriots who followed Washington’s sound advice were disparagingly referred to as “isolationists,” but they were, in actuality, neutralists. Thus Congress, acting on the will of the people, passed the Neutrality Act of 1935 that embargoed any U.S. arms from being sent to a warring nation (Anderson, 2010).

About three years later, in 1938, Rep. Louis Ludlow of Indiana introduced a resolution requiring a public vote of support for any declaration of war by Congress. Roosevelt and the Jews knew this measure could easily destroy their efforts, so an all out attack on the resolution was launched. As a result, the Ludlow bill was narrowly defeated (Anderson, 2010). In the whole story, Sidney Weinberg played a vital role in pushing America into World War II, a Zionist Agenda and British objective. In return, the “Great Britain” agreed to handover the Palestinian Land to Jews.

ZIM, an Israeli company, vacated its office (10,000 square feet) in the North WTC tower a week before 9/11, breaking its lease. The Israeli government owns 49% of this company. The lease ran till the end of 2001, and the company lost $50,000 by breaking the lease. Later, FBI agent Michael Dick, who was investigating Israeli spying before and after 9/11 and looking into the suspicious move, was removed from his duties by the head of the Justice Department’s criminal division, Michael Chertoff. According to a non-official cover or N.O.C. CIA source that worked closely with Dick, the Israeli movers moved in explosives when ZIM moved out. With ZIM Israel bailing out just in time, this left one Israeli company, Clearforest, with 19 employees, in the WTC on 9/11. Of the five employees in the building all managed to escape.

ZIM Shipping has history of involvement into the terrorism against USA by supplying to the enemies of USA. The US government, in April 2003, has revealed that 57 companies and organizations have been fined for doing business with terrorists, despots and tyrants (Nutting, 2003). The largest penalty levied among the 59 public cases was $250,000 against Zim American Israeli Shipping Co. of Norfolk, Va., for trade with Cuba. Zim, which is about half owned by the Israeli government, is one of the largest shipping companies in the world (Nutting, 2003).

“They do know about terrorism. The company relocated from the 16th floor of the World Trade Center just a week before the Sept. 11 attack, sparking speculation in the conspiracy press that the Israeli Mossad had tipped off the company ahead of time” (Nutting, 2003).

Fox News Channel has run a story, investigated by Carel Cameron. Washington Magazine says about Cameron, “”players on both sides of the aisle trust ‘Campaign Carl’ and know that his reporting is second to none.” Fox News has broadcasted the story on Television and is not part of the record. BRIT HUME, HOST: It has been more than 16 years since a civilian working for the Navy was charged with passing secrets to Israel. Jonathan Pollard pled guilty to conspiracy to commit espionage and is serving a life sentence. At first, Israeli leaders claimed Pollard was part of a rogue operation, but later took responsibility for his work. Now Fox News has learned some U.S. investigators believe that there are Israelis again very much engaged in spying in and on the U.S., who may have known things they didn’t tell us before September 11. Fox News correspondent Carl Cameron has details in the first of a four-part series.

CARL CAMERON, FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Since September 11, more than 60 Israelis have been arrested or detained, either under the new patriot anti-terrorism law, or for immigration violations. A handful of active Israeli military were among those detained, according to investigators, who say some of the detainees also failed polygraph questions when asked about alleged surveillance activities against and in the United States.

 

There is no indication that the Israelis were involved in the 9-11 attacks, but investigators suspect that they Israelis may have gathered intelligence about the attacks in advance, and not shared it. A highly placed investigator said there are “tie-ins.” But when asked for details, he flatly refused to describe them, saying, “evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It’s classified information.”

Fox News has learned that one group of Israelis, spotted in North Carolina recently, is suspected of keeping an apartment in California to spy on a group of Arabs who the United States is also investigating for links to terrorism. Numerous classified documents obtained by Fox News indicate that even prior to September 11, as many as 140 other Israelis had been detained or arrested in a secretive and sprawling investigation into suspected espionage by Israelis in the United States.

Investigators from numerous government agencies are part of a working group that’s been compiling evidence since the mid ’90s. These documents detail hundreds of incidents in cities and towns across the country that investigators say, “may well be an organized intelligence gathering activity.”

The first part of the investigation focuses on Israelis who say they are art students from the University of Jerusalem and Bazala Academy. They repeatedly made contact with U.S. government personnel, the report says, by saying they wanted to sell cheap art or handiwork.

Documents say they, “targeted and penetrated military bases.” The DEA, FBI and dozens of government facilities, and even secret offices and unlisted private homes of law enforcement and intelligence personnel. The majority of those questioned, “stated they served in military intelligence, electronic surveillance intercept and or explosive ordinance units.“

Another part of the investigation has resulted in the detention and arrests of dozens of Israelis at American mall kiosks, where they’ve been selling toys called Puzzle Car and Zoom Copter. Investigators suspect a front.

Shortly after The New York Times and Washington Post reported the Israeli detentions last months, the carts began vanishing. Zoom Copter’s Web page says, “We are aware of the situation caused by thousands of mall carts being closed at the last minute. This in no way reflects the quality of the toy or its salability. The problem lies in the operators’ business policies.”

Why would Israelis spy in and on the U.S.? A general accounting office investigation referred to Israel as country A and said, “According to a U.S. intelligence agency, the government of country A conducts the most aggressive espionage operations against the U.S. of any U.S. ally.”

A defense intelligence report said Israel has a voracious appetite for information and said, “the Israelis are motivated by strong survival instincts which dictate every possible facet of their political and economical policies. It aggressively collects military and industrial technology and the U.S. is a high priority target.” The document concludes: “Israel possesses the resources and technical capability to achieve its collection objectives.”

A spokesman for the Israeli embassy here in Washington issued a denial saying that any suggestion that Israelis are spying in or on the U.S. is “simply not true.” There are other things to consider. And in the days ahead, we’ll take a look at the U.S. phone system and law enforcement’s methods for wiretaps. And an investigation that both have been compromised by our friends overseas.

HUME: Carl, what about this question of advanced knowledge of what was going to happen on 9-11? How clear are investigators that some Israeli agents may have known something?

CAMERON: It’s very explosive information, obviously, and there’s a great deal of evidence that they say they have collected — none of it necessarily conclusive. It’s more when they put it all together. A bigger question, they say, is how could they not have know? Almost a direct quote.
HUME: Going into the fact that they were spying on some Arabs, right?

CAMERON: Correct.

BRIT HUME, HOST: Last time we reported on the approximately 60 Israelis who had been detained in connection with the Sept. 11 terrorism investigation. Carl Cameron reported that U.S. investigators suspect that some of these Israelis were spying on Arabs in this country, and may have turned up information on the planned terrorist attacks back in September that was not passed on.

Tonight, in the second of four reports on spying by Israelis in the U.S., we learn about an Israeli-based private communications company, for whom a half-dozen of those 60 detained suspects worked. American investigators fear information generated by this firm may have fallen into the wrong hands and had the effect of impeded the Sept. 11 terror inquiry. Here’s Carl Cameron’s second report.

CARL CAMERON, FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Fox News has learned that some American terrorist investigators fear certain suspects in the Sept. 11 attacks may have managed to stay ahead of them, by knowing who and when investigators are calling on the telephone. How? By obtaining and analyzing data that’s generated every time someone in the U.S. makes a call.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What city and state, please?

CAMERON: Here’s how the system works. Most directory assistance calls, and virtually all call records and billing in the U.S. are done for the phone companies by Amdocs Ltd., an Israeli-based private telecommunications company.

Amdocs has contracts with the 25 biggest phone companies in America, and more worldwide. The White House and other secure government phone lines are protected, but it is virtually impossible to make a call on normal phones without generating an Amdocs record of it.

In recent years, the FBI and other government agencies have investigated Amdocs more than once. The firm has repeatedly and adamantly denied any security breaches or wrongdoing. But sources tell Fox News that in 1999, the super secret national security agency, headquartered in northern Maryland, issued what’s called a Top Secret sensitive compartmentalized information report, TS/SCI, warning that records of calls in the United States were getting into foreign hands – in Israel, in particular.

Investigators don’t believe calls are being listened to, but the data about who is calling whom and when is plenty valuable in itself. An internal Amdocs memo to senior company executives suggests just how Amdocs generated call records could be used. “Widespread data mining techniques and algorithms…. combining both the properties of the customer (e.g., credit rating) and properties of the specific ‘behavior….’” Specific behavior, such as who the customers are calling.

The Amdocs memo says the system should be used to prevent phone fraud. But U.S. counterintelligence analysts say it could also be used to spy through the phone system. Fox News has learned that the N.S.A has held numerous classified conferences to warn the F.B.I. and C.I.A. how Amdocs records could be used. At one NSA briefing, a diagram by the Argon national lab was used to show that if the phone records are not secure, major security breaches are possible.

Another briefing document said, “It has become increasingly apparent that systems and networks are vulnerable.…Such crimes always involve unauthorized persons, or persons who exceed their authorization…citing on exploitable vulnerabilities.”

Those vulnerabilities are growing, because according to another briefing, the U.S. relies too much on foreign companies like Amdocs for high-tech equipment and software. “Many factors have led to increased dependence on code developed overseas…. We buy rather than train or develop solutions.”

U.S. intelligence does not believe the Israeli government is involved in a misuse of information, and Amdocs insists that its data is secure. What U.S. government officials are worried about, however, is the possibility that Amdocs data could get into the wrong hands, particularly organized crime. And that would not be the first thing that such a thing has happened. Fox News has documents of a 1997 drug trafficking case in Los Angeles, in which telephone information, the type that Amdocs collects, was used to “completely compromise the communications of the FBI, the Secret Service, the DEO and the LAPD.” We’ll have that and a lot more in the days ahead – Brit.

HUME: Carl, I want to take you back to your report last night on those 60 Israelis who were detained in the anti-terror investigation, and the suspicion that some investigators have that they may have picked up information on the 9/11 attacks ahead of time and not passed it on.

There was a report, you’ll recall, that the Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, did indeed send representatives to the U.S. to warn, just before 9/11, that a major terrorist attack was imminent. How does that leave room for the lack of a warning?

CAMERON: I remember the report, Brit. We did it first internationally right here on your show on the 14th. What investigators are saying is that that warning from the Mossad was nonspecific and general, and they believe that it may have had something to do with the desire to protect what are called sources and methods in the intelligence community. The suspicion being, perhaps those sources and methods were taking place right here in the United States.

The question came up in select intelligence committee on Capitol Hill today. They intend to look into what we reported last night, and specifically that possibility – Brit.

HUME: So in other words, the problem wasn’t lack of a warning, the problem was lack of useful details?

CAMERON: Quantity of information.

HUME: All right, Carl, thank you very much.

HUME: Last time we reported on an Israeli-based company called Amdocs Ltd. that generates the computerized records and billing data for nearly every phone call made in America. As Carl Cameron reported, U.S. investigators digging into the 9/11 terrorist attacks fear that suspects may have been tipped off to what they were doing by information leaking out of Amdocs.

In tonight’s report, we learn that the concern about phone security extends to another company, founded in Israel that provides the technology that the U.S. government uses for electronic eavesdropping. Here is Carl Cameron’s third report.

CARL CAMERON, FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): The Company is Comverse Infosys, a subsidiary of an Israeli-run private telecommunications firm, with offices throughout the U.S. It provides wiretapping equipment for law enforcement. Here’s how wiretapping works in the U.S.

Every time you make a call, it passes through the nation’s elaborate network of switchers and routers run by the phone companies. Custom computers and software, made by companies like Comverse, are tied into that network to intercept, record and store the wiretapped calls, and at the same time transmit them to investigators.

The manufacturers have continuing access to the computers so they can service them and keep them free of glitches. This process was authorized by the 1994 Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act, or CALEA. Senior government officials have now told Fox News that while CALEA made wiretapping easier, it has led to a system that is seriously vulnerable to compromise, and may have undermined the whole wiretapping system.

Indeed, Fox News has learned that Attorney General John Ashcroft and FBI Director Robert Mueller were both warned Oct. 18 in a hand-delivered letter from 15 local, state and federal law enforcement officials, who complained that “law enforcement’s current electronic surveillance capabilities are less effective today than they were at the time CALEA was enacted.”

Congress insists the equipment it installs is secure. But the complaint about this system is that the wiretap computer programs made by Comverse have, in effect, a back door through which wiretaps themselves can be intercepted by unauthorized parties.

Adding to the suspicions is the fact that in Israel, Comverse works closely with the Israeli government, and under special programs, gets reimbursed for up to 50 percent of its research and development costs by the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade. But investigators within the DEA, INS and FBI have all told Fox News that to pursue or even suggest Israeli spying through Comverse is considered career suicide.

And sources say that while various F.B.I. inquiries into Comverse have been conducted over the years, they’ve been halted before the actual equipment has ever been thoroughly tested for leaks. A 1999 F.C.C. document indicates several government agencies expressed deep concerns that too many unauthorized non-law enforcement personnel can access the wiretap system. And the FBI’s own nondescript office in Chantilly, Virginia that actually oversees the CALEA wiretapping program, is among the most agitated about the threat.

But there is a bitter turf war internally at F.B.I. It is the FBI’s office in Quantico, Virginia, that has jurisdiction over awarding contracts and buying intercept equipment. And for years, they’ve thrown much of the business to Comverse. A handful of former U.S. law enforcement officials involved in awarding Comverse government contracts over the years now work for the company.

Numerous sources say some of those individuals were asked to leave government service under what knowledgeable sources call “troublesome circumstances” that remain under administrative review within the Justice Department.

And what troubles investigators most, particularly in New York, in the counter terrorism investigation of the World Trade Center attack, is that on a number of cases, suspects that they had sought to wiretap and survey immediately changed their telecommunications processes. They started acting much differently as soon as those supposedly secret wiretaps went into place – Brit.

HUME: Carl, is there any reason to suspect in this instance that the Israeli government is involved?

CAMERON: No, there’s not. But there are growing instincts in an awful lot of law enforcement officials in a variety of agencies who suspect that it had begun compiling evidence, and a highly classified investigation into that possibility – Brit.

TONY SNOW, HOST: This week, senior correspondent Carl Cameron has reported on a longstanding government espionage investigation. Federal officials this year have arrested or detained nearly 200 Israeli citizens suspected of belonging to an “organized intelligence-gathering operation.” The Bush administration has deported most of those arrested after Sept. 11, although some are in custody under the new anti-terrorism law.

Cameron also investigates the possibility that an Israeli firm generated billing data that could be used for intelligence purpose, and describes concerns that the federal government’s own wiretapping system may be vulnerable. Tonight, in part four of the series, we’ll learn about the probable roots of the probe: a drug case that went bad four years ago in L.A.

CARL CAMERON, FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Los Angeles, 1997, a major local, state and federal drug investigating sours. The suspects: Israeli organized crime with operations in New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Canada, Israel and Egypt. The allegations: cocaine and ecstasy trafficking, and sophisticated white-collar credit card and computer fraud.

The problem: according to classified law enforcement documents obtained by Fox News, the bad guys had the cops’ beepers, cell phones, even home phones under surveillance. Some who did get caught admitted to having hundreds of numbers and using them to avoid arrest.

“This compromised law enforcement communications between LAPD detectives and other assigned law enforcement officers working various aspects of the case. The organization discovered communications between organized crime intelligence division detectives, the FBI and the Secret Service.”

Shock spread from the DEA to the FBI in Washington, and then the CIA. An investigation of the problem, according to law enforcement documents, concluded, “The organization has apparent extensive access to database systems to identify pertinent personal and biographical information.”

When investigators tried to find out where the information might have come from, they looked at Amdocs, a publicly traded firm based in Israel. Amdocs generates billing data for virtually every call in America, and they do credit checks. The company denies any leaks, but investigators still fear that the firm’s data is getting into the wrong hands.

When investigators checked their own wiretapping system for leaks, they grew concerned about potential vulnerabilities in the computers that intercept, record and store the wiretapped calls. A main contractor is Comverse Infosys, which works closely with the Israeli government, and under a special grant program, is reimbursed for up to 50 percent of its research and development costs by Israel’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Asked this week about another sprawling investigation and the detention of 60 Israeli since Sept. 11, the Bush administration treated the questions like hot potatoes.

ARI FLEISCHER, WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY: I would just refer you to the Department of Justice with that. I’m not familiar with the report.

COLIN POWELL, SECRETARY OF STATE: I’m aware that some Israeli citizens have been detained. With respect to why they’re being detained and the other aspects of your question – whether it’s because they’re in intelligence services, or what they were doing – I will defer to the Department of Justice and the FBI to answer that.

CAMERON: Beyond the 60 apprehended or detained, and many deported since Sept. 11, another group of 140 Israeli individuals have been arrested and detained in this year in what government documents describe as “an organized intelligence gathering operation,” designed to “penetrate government facilities.” Most of those individuals said they had served in the Israeli military, which is compulsory there.

But they also had, most of them, intelligence expertise, and either worked for Amdocs or other companies in Israel that specialize in wiretapping. Earlier this week, the Israeli embassy in Washington denied any spying against or in the United States – Tony.

SNOW: Carl, we’ve heard the comments from Ari Fleischer and Colin Powell. What are officials saying behind the scenes?

CAMERON: Well, there’s real pandemonium described at the FBI, the DEA and the INS. A lot of these problems have been well known to some investigators, many of who have contributed to the reporting on this story. And what they say is happening is supervisors and management are now going back and collecting much of the information, because there’s tremendous pressure from the top levels of all of those agencies to find out exactly what’s going on.

At the DEA and the FBI already a variety of administration reviews are under way, in addition to the investigation of the phenomenon. They want to find out how it is all this has come out, as well as be very careful because of the explosive nature and very political ramifications of the story itself – Tony.
